'Blooming' Plant Oil Generator

Firefly has teamed up with the award winning Blooming Futures to offer yet another green first. This 7KVa super silenced plant oil generator is the only one of its kind. It has been specially converted to run on the fuel using the very latest techniques, some of which were developed by blooming futures.

Pure plant oil has several advantages over other fuels like biodiesel or agrofuel. There is no chemical process needed to convert the used oil to fuel, meaning that no energy is used in its production.  There are no other ingredients needed (such as methane, often not from ethical or sustainable sources) to make the fuel work, so the fuel is has zero emissions.  

Further to this, Firefly will provide pure plant oil that is 100% recycled from used cooking oils and sourced locally. We are able to offer a considerable saving on this fuel against both traditional and bio-fuels.
