Southend Big Charge
Firefly are providing an Orion to help power up the green stage at this year's Southend Village Festival taking place in Chalkwell Park.
The festival is calling on Southend residents to get involved and help generate the power needed to make it a very special event, they need 500 cycle hours to make it happen.
Nymans Big Green Day Out
Firefly are providing site wide power for the Nymans Big Green Day Out in Handcross near Haywards Heath, West Sussex. The event promises a fun, educational day out for the whole family with food tasting, children’s games and the Big Green Bus to name just a few of the attractions on offer.
Skyride Manchester
Sky and British Cycling have collaborated to produce Sky Ride Manchester, a free, mass participation bicycle ride for people of all ages, taking place in and around the city centre. Sky Ride aim to get one million more people cycling their way to a healthier, happier and fitter lifestyle and will be producing events throughout the summer all over the UK.
Tramlines
Tramlines Festival is an annual music festival that takes place in Sheffield. The festival is curated and organised by Matt Helders of the Arctic Monkeys, Jon McClure of Reverend and the Makers and Toddla T and is free to attend. This years festival features performances from the Mystery Jets, Echo & The Bunnymen and Craig David!
Greenwich World Culture Festival
Greenwich World Cultural Festival is a free one-day explosion of dance, theatre, circus and music from around the world. This is a Greenwich Council event produced by Greenwich Dance and Greenwich Theatre in association with English Heritage.
Firefly will be providing PA and a Pictor solar generator for the event.
Paddle Round the Pier
Paddle round the Pier is Europe's biggest free beach party. From a small charity event run by surfers, the event has grown into a world famous festival featuring the best in beach culture, urban and street sports, live music and family fun. And it's all for charity.
Firefly are providing solar power for the event.
Martlets Midnight Walk
The Martlets Midnight Walk is a 13 mile sponsored walk through the streets of Brighton & Hove, starting at midnight. The walk raises funds for the Martlets Hospice who help people affected by life limiting illness living in and around Brighton & Hove.
Firefly will be providing solar powered site lighting for areas of the walk.
Take Part
Take Part is Brighton & Hove's International Festival of Sport, the city-wide Festival was launched in 2008 as the first of 5 Festivals between now and the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics. Take Part day is a large scale free event starting the Festival with the largest exhibition of sports and physical activities ever seen in Brighton & Hove.
CIAO! The Ark
CIAO! Is an Oxford-based arts organisation that offers children and young people exciting opportunities to engage with the highest quality performing arts from around the world. From the 23rd to the 27th June 2010 CIAO! are holding an event called The Ark in Oxford.
