Wood Festival (16th – 18th May) - Wood Festival is a new festival bought to you by the organisers of Truck and is the ‘first purpose-designed green-eco-sustainable festival’.  The event is to be held at Graziers Park, Oxfordshire once owned by 007 creator Sir Ian Fleming and the love nest of Mick Jagger and Marianne Faithful.  The line up includes Get Cape Wear Cape Fly and Lightspeed Champion.  Firefly will be supplying some solar power for the event. www.thisistruck.com/about-wood-festival.aspx

Camden Green Fair (1st June) - Now in its 17th year the Camden Green Fair was started as a local event by a group of people from Camden, with the aim of raising awareness within their community of various environmental issues. Since its relatively small beginnings the Council have become involved and the fair has grown year on year, and is now the UK’s largest free green event attracting 25000 people.  Firefly is supplying one Orion generator to power an info stand. www.camdengreenfair.org.uk

Green Wave (5th – 6th July) - Green Wave is the latest event from the production team behind Spring Watch.  The event will be showcasing businesses and organisations which sell and produce products which help fight climate change, or are of minimum risk to the environment.  It is being held in Preston Park, Brighton and will be split into eight themed and interactive zones.  Firefly is providing overall power for the event with both our solar and veg oil generators, and will be holding court over the energy zone, showcasing products that use sustainable energy.

 Eco Fair (20th July) - EcoFair 2008 is an event in Horsham, West Sussex that showcases sustainable living, from local produce to eco housing and a fair-trade fashion show.  Eco Fair offers something for all the family with Creative junk modelling, puppet shows and face painting for the kids.  Set up by Ecotecture Ltd, with vital support from Horsham District Council, EcoFair 2008 will inspire and educate on the ethos of sustainability, and Firefly will be supplying vegetable power for the day. www.ecofair.org.uk
