Spring Forward
The Brighton & Hove Adult Learning Festival offers a chance to learn in new and unusual ways. Our aim is to promote and celebrate learning activities across Brighton & Hove which reflect the dynamic city in which we live.
Look out for our ‘Spring Forward’ event which will celebrate informal learning on the 20th March with events in Jubilee Square and Library

Brighton & Hove Children's Festival
From 12 – 18 April 2010 Brighton & Hove Children’s Festival returns for its fourth year to transform the city. The festival offers free and accessible opportunities for children to participate and enjoy.
Brighton Festival Fringe
Firefly have forged an exciting partnership with Brighton Fringe Festival for 2010. We are the official technical production partner working across all fringe internal events and focusing on Fringe City, the open air element of the festival happening every weekend throughout May in Brighton's beautiful Lanes.
Springwatch
Spring Watch is the largest festival of nature in the South and is held in Stamner Park, Brighton. It is a fun family day out, encouraging public participation in order to teach people about important issues affecting our climate, like the recycling industry, food miles and permaculture.
Isle of Wight Festival
The Isle of Wight Festival is one of the countries leading festivals featuring legendary acts and rising stars. Firefly are pleased to be involved in the green area working with Eco Action Partnership, Firefly will be powering the Hive area including the live music stage. We are also providing our range of interactive pedal powered entertainment games.
Haringey Green Fair
Firefly Solar are once again bringing the Firefly stage to the Better Haringey Green Fair taking place on Ducketts Common. This event highlights the boroughs aim to reduce their environmental footprint and promote sustainability, it promises to be a fun and educational day out where visitors can learn about energy efficiency, sustainable transport and how to reduce waste.
Glastonbury Festival
Firefly are back to design and supply the lighting equipment for the Snakepit at Glastonbury 2010.
The Snakepit is a late night Badlands haunt which conceals secret satin dens and shadowy corners of wrongness. With dark characters who meet to make deals and play dirty and flaming exotic dancers who play mercilessly with the audience.
Lovebox
Lovebox is back bigger and better than ever adding an extra day, expanding their line up and pushing a new greener agenda after signing up to the 10:10 campaign. This years event will feature a solar powered stage utilising all of our Orion solar generators. Lovebox is London's premier boutique festival and includes performances by Dizzee Rascal and Chase & Status.
Past Events
Jagex Christmas Party
Firefly are proud to be once again working with Pebble Productions on this years Jagex Christmas party. This years party, with a 00 Heaven theme, is set within the Concept Centre in Bedford, a stunning venue with sweeping domes and curves. Firefly are providing all lighting equipment, design and operators.
Brighton & Hove Albion Xmas Party
Firefly are working with Pebble Productions to produce this year’s Brighton & Hove Albion Christmas party held at the Grand Hotel on Kings Road, Brighton. Firefly have been awarded the lighting contract to include design, operation and equipment supply. The charity dinner will again this year feature an auction in aid of Albion in the Community.
Rethink Rubbish Bus Solar Conversion
Firefly are working with East Sussex County Council to convert the county's Rethink Rubbish Bus's on-board lighting and computer systems to run on solar energy. The installation incorporates an interactive solar panel array designed to demonstrate the direct link between sunlight and electricity.
The Snowman Spectacular Fundraising Ball
Firefly return to produce Chestnut Tree House's 2009 Snowman Spectacular. Our congratulations go out to the whole team as the Chestnut Tree House won the Fundraising Event and Team of the Year award for the 2008 event from the Children's Hospices UK.
Sutton Christmas Lights
Firefly are providing the stage for the annual Sutton Christmas lights switch on held in the High Street. Kids favourites Pingu and Shaun the Sheep will be present to switch on the lights, shops will open late and there will be live entertainment in the High Street and St Nicholas Centre.
