Glastonbury Festival

Wednesday, 23 June, 2010 - Sunday, 27 June, 2010

Firefly Solar are very excited to be back at Glastonbury Festival this year. The UK’s biggest music event celebrates its 40th anniversary this year and will be showcasing some of the world’s best performers.
Firefly Solar are providing Solar Power and Sound Equipment for the entire Sensation Seekers Stage located in Bella’s Field, at Glastonbury Festival this year.

The Sensation Seekers Stage offers the best in the hottest avant-garde entertainment with minimum impact on the environment. Quirky and diverse, the stage offers a seriously eclectic selection of outrageous entertainment, ranging from cult Bingo, to frilly-knickered knife throwers, men in giant balloons and the world’s strongest lady.

Also in Bella’s field Firefly will be providing two solar mobile generators for roaming stages showcasing theatre and circus acts.
Firefly will be providing lighting for Glastonbury’s Snake Pit located in the Shangri-La area. The Snake pit is a late night Badlands haunt which conceals secret satin dens and shadowy corners of wrongness. With dark characters who meet to make deals and play dirty and flaming exotic dancers who play mercilessly with the audience.

Firefly will also be using their innovative Solar Power technology to power the Greenpeace Dome located in the Green Fields. As well as power, Firefly will also be providing Sound Equipment for this stage which is a favourite amongst many of the festival goers.
