Rethink Rubbish Bus Solar Conversion

Firefly are working with East Sussex County Council to convert the county's Rethink Rubbish Bus's on-board lighting and computer systems to run on solar energy. The installation incorporates an interactive solar panel array designed to demonstrate the direct link between sunlight and electricity. The bus tours local schools and community events to help increase understanding of recycling, waste and climate change. The bus is available for hire free of charge directly through the council.
