BBC Springwatch - Brighton
Spring Watch is the largest festival of nature in the South and is held in Stamner Park, Brighton. It is a fun family day out, encouraging public participation in order to teach people about important issues affecting our climate, like the recycling industry, food miles and permaculture. Activities range from wildlife workshops and building bird boxes through to woodcraft demonstrations using local timber. Firefly returns to Springwatch in 2010 for the third time and this year without any veg oil generators. We're proud that this year the event will be 100% solar powered.
