'Orion' Solar Powered Generators

Supplying up to 5 KW of solar power each, our fleet of ‘Orion’ generators are a first of their kind and the only solar power solution to be 100% mobile as well as 100% reliable.  Housed in a 6x6 foot trailer, the batteries and panels easily roll into any location without the fuss usually associated with solar power. 

The system is completely silent running and has zero emissions.  It does not need to be powered down to refuel so can run continuously for longer than most generators. As the generators are solar powered there are absolutely no fuel costs. Put simply, they are a greener, cleaner, quieter, safer alternative to traditional on-site power solutions.

Our solar panels are poly-crystalline photovoltaic and after two years of research, development and testing have proved to be the best available in the world.  Paired with the appropriate equipment, our panels harness the power of the sun and turn it into a useable power source.  Our specially designed and patent pending frames make set-up a breeze – the panels simply come out of the trailer and unfold onto their stands.

We use Rolls solar specific batteries, two hundred and fifty times more powerful than the average leisure battery found in caravans and specifically designed for use with solar.  These batteries power our cutting edge inverters which supply a constant 230 Volt pure sine-wave current which is cleaner and safer for equipment than using household mains electricity.

Each generator will roll onto site with 12 hours of charge already contained within the batteries, thus supplying constant power on the darkest, rainiest of British days, and even at night.  As soon as the sun rises our panels will start working, but with 12 spare hours on board our generators are as reliable as any other fossil fuelled alternative.

We currently have 3 Orion’s in stock.  They can be hired individually so if you only need a small amount of power (for example for a stall or promotional stand) we cater for you.  However, each module can be linked, so if you need more power that is also available.
