Firefly proved to me that you can sustainably run a really good soundsystem and lights on pure solar energy, whats more the level of professional and technical support for the whole running of the stage was exceptional. In the end we were able to put on massive international acts to massive crowds with no need for back up. They have pulled Solar PAs from the mire of small but excellent alternative events, to a fully speced and tightly run Rock and Roll Stage suitable for any mainstream event. Thats the future.
