Having been a little sceptical about the reserve power of solar systems, Secret Garden Party decided to give it a go for one of our new stages, The Gateway, a stage with a more holistic feel and so we thought Firefly would be good for the job. I was very impressed with the performance of the equipment that Firefly supplied and hope to work with them again in the future.

We have used Firefly Solar now for over two years, predominately at the Springwatch Festival in Brighton. It was the only way to go for us and we have found Firefly to be incredibly organised, very cost effective and a fantastic contractor to deal with right through from the planning stage to event strike. It has also been an absolute joy to produce an event that, throughout it’s entirety, suffered not a single power failure thanks to the technological advances that have now been made and put in place by Firefly.

We look forward to our next event with Firefly. The City of London Festival was able to back its green mission with large-scale event Sweden On Stage because we came across Firefly Solar and their specialisation in providing energy efficient lighting and power, not to mention very efficient service and a great team of staff.

Chestnut Tree House is the only children's hospice in Sussex, it has to raise over 90p in pound to keep it's doors open. It cost over £2 million to run, basically it's a miracle that it does. We wanted to celebrate this miracle in Chestnut Tree House's fifth birthday year. We wanted to put on a spectacular birthday party in Brighton to thank all our supporters and to raise vital funds. We didn't want just another fundraising ball. And that's basically the brief Firefly got, to help us put on an event in Brighton that people would enjoy, remember and talk about. Andy Mead and his crew delivered exactly that.

Having never organised a festival before we contacted Firefly who were able to give expert advice. Equipment was delivered, erected and dismantled without fuss. They worked long and hard to make the event a success. Thank you to 'Team Firefly'

Having worked alongside Firefly crew on major productions, and subcontracting them on our own smaller-scale jobs, I have found them extremely professional and a pleasure to work with, always showing a commitment to high quality sustainable event production in every sense - with regard to the working atmosphere, the budget, and the environment.

Firefly did the AV for our FlashBrightonConference where their engineers were professional and courteous. When we had the ridiculous idea to project interactive digitally generated fireworks onto a 40ft high building, Firefly provided us with a great sound system. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Working with Firefly allowed us to meet all of the festival’s aims. With Loop we want to produce a sustainable urban event. The Loop site is one of the only green spaces in the centre of Brighton so it was really important that we minimised our impact and provided good quality sound. When we found out that Firefly could sort both problems we couldn't believe our luck and they certainly didn't disappoint.
